Applications programmer

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend APIs.

· Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

· Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

· Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

· Implement and maintain automated tests to ensure code quality.

· Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

· Troubleshoot and debug production issues as needed.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

· Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.

· Experience with RESTful API design and development.

· Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

· Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, JWT).

· Experience with version control systems like Git.

· Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
