Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Applied AI Analyst to join our technology team. This entry-level role will support the development, testing, deployment, and adoption of AI and generative AI solutions across the firm. Working closely with the AI Development team, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders, the Applied AI Analyst will help translate business needs into practical AI-enabled workflows, support prompt engineering and AI usage guidance, and contribute to firmwide AI adoption and training efforts.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about applied AI, eager to learn, and interested in helping teams use AI responsibly and effectively in a professional services environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support the design, testing, and implementation of AI and generative AI solutions for internal business and legal workflows.
Assist in building and maintaining AI-enabled tools, workflows, and knowledge resources that improve productivity and information access.
Work with AI Development, Data Science, and business teams to gather requirements, document use cases, and support solution delivery.
Help evaluate AI tools, models, and vendor solutions for fit, usability, and business value.
Assist with prompt development, prompt testing, and prompt optimization for firm use cases.
Support AI adoption initiatives by helping create training materials, user guides, FAQs, and best-practice documentation.
Help deliver AI training sessions and office hours for attorneys and business professionals.
Assist in monitoring AI solution performance, user feedback, and adoption metrics.
Support data preparation, content review, and quality checks for AI-related projects.
Collaborate with technology, security, and business teams to help ensure AI solutions are reliable, secure, and aligned with firm standards.
Stay current on developments in AI, generative AI, and responsible AI practices.
Qualifications/Position Requirements
Strong interest in artificial intelligence, generative AI, and practical business applications
0–2 years of experience in AI prompt engineering, AI coding, data science, analytics, technology, or a related field
Exposure to AI/ML concepts, natural language processing, or automation tools
Experience supporting training, documentation, or user adoption initiatives
Familiarity with legal, professional services, or enterprise environments
Interest in responsible AI, data privacy, and governance
Familiarity with AI tools, prompt engineering concepts, or large language models preferred
Basic proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar analytical tools preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams
Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Internship, academic project, or early professional experience in AI, analytics, technology, or related discipline preferred
Compensation
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 - $120,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, anticipated assignment, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
