Applied AI & Analytics Manager - CO
Description
What You will Own
Qore Onboarding & Automations: Lead the firm's migration to Qore. Define role-specific usage SOPs (keeping advertising in Xnurta and retail/reporting in Qore). Build and own Qore skills, ensuring any account-altering automations are logged, reversible, and explicitly approved by leadership.
AI Operating Model & Rollout: Establish the firm's AI hierarchy (Qore, Claude, Gemini) and task-based SOPs. Drive a phased rollout with targeted training. Manage Claude Projects, skills, and token/context efficiency to control monthly costs.
Tool Selection & Vetting: Vet and stress-test new skills, plugins, and connectors in an isolated, client-data-free environment before deployment. Maintain a comprehensive tool register.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Account and Creative teams to solve analytical challenges and automate manual workflows. Convert recurring requests into standing Qore tools and build compliant AI workflows for creative assets.
Client Reporting: Build Qore dashboards for recurring sales, ad performance, and major retail events. Retire Looker Studio for supported channels after validation. Partner with IT to enforce strict access controls.
Data Foundation: Validate the Trellis data migration by reconciling BigQuery data against source consoles. Centralize and document data modeling definitions, and run proactive quality checks.
Forecasting Models: Refine forecasting for sales, ad budgets, and inventory by documenting assumptions, backtesting against actuals, and honestly reporting error margins.
Client Intelligence Layer: Build a governed, isolated LLM context environment for each client (Month 7+) that answers with citations and routes actions strictly to approved Qore automations.
IT Collaboration: Document clear operational boundaries with IT: you own the use cases, while IT retains the final say on security, permissions, and platform administration. Cross-train on critical urgent access tasks.

Rigorous Vetting: Disciplined approach to reading code before running it, testing tools against known baselines, and rejecting unsafe solutions.
Technical Stack: Fluent in advanced SQL (CTEs, window functions) and practical Python for API extraction, data cleaning, and validation.
BI & Reconciliation: Builds and maintains reliable BI reporting with a strict habit of auditing data discrepancies and verifying totals against source systems.
AI Cost Strategy: Current knowledge of the LLM landscape, token economics, and how to match model tiers (size/cost) to specific tasks.
Clear Documentation: Writes accessible, concise SOPs and guidance tailored for busy, non-technical colleagues.
Remote Proficiency: Excels in async communication and documentation, with substantial overlap in US Eastern or Pacific hours.
Service & Boundaries: Strategic partner to internal teams who balances helpfulness with the ability to say "no" to misaligned requests.
