Applied AI Scientist
Summary
The Applied AI Scientist will design and develop AI solutions, including agentic systems and foundation models, to solve real-world business problems. The role involves rapid prototyping, fine-tuning models, and collaborating with engineering teams to deploy scalable AI applications using Python and PyTorch.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop applied AI solutions for real-world business use cases.
- Build rapid prototypes and PoCs to validate technical feasibility and business value.
- Apply and customize vision, language, and multimodal foundation models for domain-specific problems.
- Train, fine-tune, and adapt foundation models where required.
- Develop agentic AI systems for reasoning, decision-making, tool use, and workflow automation.
- Build intelligent workflows that transform structured and unstructured data into insights and actions.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to transition validated solutions into scalable systems.
Job Requirements
- Strong background in AI/ML, deep learning, computer vision, NLP, or multimodal modeling.
- Hands-on experience training, fine-tuning, or adapting foundation models.
- Experience developing LLM or agentic AI applications.
- Proficiency in Python and PyTorch.
- Ability to rapidly prototype, experiment, and iterate on AI solutions.
- Experience deploying AI systems into production environments is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
