Job Description Summary:
Summary:As the Apprentice Barback, you support beverage operations by maintaining stock levels, assisting bartenders and servers, and ensuring cleanliness and product availability. This entry-level role is designed to train you in bartending functions while delivering excellent guest service and upholding operational standards.
Job Description:
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
- Assist bartenders, beverage servers, and bar porters to ensure cleanliness and product availability
- Clean and sanitize beverage stations, bar tops, floors, and equipment
- Refill and stock garnishes, glassware, and other consumable/non-consumable bar supplies
- Learn and perform bartender responsibilities as assigned, including responsible beverage service
- Follow proper cash handling and POS procedures
- Receive, issue, and maintain records of liquor and bar supplies
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 6 months of apprentice barback experience and/or equivalent experience preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
- Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements
- Regularly push/pull up to 50lbs.
- Regularly lift and/or carry up to 50lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
- Frequently squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist
- Occasionally sit and work at a desk or computer
- Frequently standing and walking
- Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone
- Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person
- Ability to distinguish between shades of color
- Ability to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
