Aquaculture Business Development Manager
About RYNAN Aquaculture
RYNAN Technologies is a Singapore-headquartered industrial technology group with operations across Asia, Australia, Europe, and Latin America. Our aquaculture business develops TOMGOXY, a smart and sustainable shrimp farming model. TOMGOXY combines on-site oxygen generation, IoT water quality monitoring, and AI to help farmers achieve super-intensive, low-emission shrimp production.
The Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to grow the global market for TOMGOXY and our aquaculture product range. This is a hunting role. You will find, engage, and close two types of partners: farm owners and investors who want to build smart shrimp farms with TOMGOXY, and distributors worldwide who want to carry our aquaculture products. Compensation includes a fixed salary and incentive pay tied to results.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify prospective customers who want to build or convert shrimp farms using the TOMGOXY model
- Recruit, onboard, and manage distributors for RYNAN aquaculture products across international markets
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, technical and commercial presentations, proposals, negotiation, and closing
- Build long-term relationships with farm owners, investors, distributors, and industry stakeholders
- Represent RYNAN at trade shows, conferences, and farm visits in the region and globally
- Work with our technical and product teams to shape proposals and feed market requirements back into the roadmap
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and report on forecasts and progress
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in aquaculture, agriculture, fisheries, food science, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Experience in B2B sales, business development, or commercial roles, ideally selling equipment, inputs, or technology to farms or food producers
- Knowledge of shrimp or fish farming operations is a strong advantage
- Comfortable hunting for new business and building a pipeline from scratch
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English; other regional languages are a plus
- Willing to travel internationally to farms, distributors, and trade events
Good to Have
- Existing network among shrimp farmers, aquaculture distributors, or feed and equipment suppliers
- Familiarity with IoT, water quality management, or farm automation solutions
