Arborist
Summary
Performs tree health assessments, emergency tree care, pruning, and maintenance while supervising staff and liaising with stakeholders.
Job Description
1. Prepare of a comprehensive tree assessment report
2. Attend to urgent and emergency tree matters after working hours
3. Conduct tree inspection and prescribe remedies for tree health problems
4. Implement tree pruning and maintenance programme with term contractors and supervisors
5. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on arboriculture matters
6. Supervise staff to ensure correct tree pruning and cutting methods are being applied
7. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Newly certified arborist are welcome to apply
- Working experience in arborist management will be advantage
- Accredited certified arborist or equivalent
- Tree-climbing and chainsaw operations experience will be advantage
- Good English communication and interpersonal skill
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
