Job Description: Architect

An architect is responsible for designing and planning buildings and other structures. They work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and then create detailed plans and drawings that meet those requirements. Architects also oversee the construction process to ensure that the building is constructed according to the plans and specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to understand their needs and preferences
• Create detailed plans and drawings for buildings and other structures
• Ensure that plans meet building codes and regulations
• Work with contractors and other professionals to oversee the construction process
• Make changes to plans as necessary to ensure that the building is constructed according to specifications
• Stay up-to-date with new building materials and techniques

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
• Professional license to practice architecture
• Strong design and drawing skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
