Architect / Architect Manager
Summary
The Architect/Architect Manager leads architectural design and project execution, overseeing on-site progress and ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations. The role involves managing teams of architects and technicians while coordinating with clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
· Help to lead architecture design and execution throughout the project cycle.
· Oversee progress of on-site work ensure project is built according to design plans and resolve any issues that may arise.
· Work with clients, consultants and stakeholders to ensure that the building plan meet the
necessary building codes and regulations.
· Ensure key deadlines are met and staff are working together effectively
· May manage various groups of architects, technicians and/or specialists.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Architecture or related fields
· Minimum 6 years of relevant architectural experience
· Being registered with Singapore Board of Architects would be an advantage
· Good knowledge of architectural details, working drawings and construction practices
· Conversant with local code and regulations
· Competency in authority requirements and submission procedures
· Ability to lead a team
· Experience in high density housing and/or public housing
· Good leadership and communication skill
