Why This Role Matters

As an Architect in the Civic Public Buildings Market with 5-10 years of experience you’ll play a key role in supporting the firm and shaping projects that make a difference—from concept through completion. You’ll collaborate with talented teammates, contribute your expertise, and help us deliver thoughtful, high-quality solutions for those we serve.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as lead architect for projects across our public buildings market through directing the delivery of projects in compliance with Shive-Hattery standards
• Participate and contribute in design and project management through design reviews, idea generation, collaboration, and design work in drawing, modeling and 3D image formats
• Direct and mentor junior staff to design, produce and coordinate the design process and technical documents
• Attend project and client meetings with design professionals for projects under contract
• Collaborate with local office leadership and firmwide Market leadership on select business development opportunities
