Architect - DevOps

Responsibilities

• Engage with software engineers and developers to understand their requirement and provide SME guidance on engineering designs.
• Propose innovative solutions and deployment approach for rollout of newly developed or refresh applications with an emphasis on fostering agility, enhancing security and improving operational efficiency.
• Provide operational oversight to the operations team to ensure that the platform is properly managed in accordance with stringent security requirements, best practices and meeting user expectations.
• Oversee and maintain CI/CD platforms, application server platforms, container management platforms and identity-based secrets and encryption management platforms.
• Administer and operate the continuous monitoring platform to consistently evaluate and swiftly detect potential failures in the performance of our platforms and applications.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering or related fields with at least 3 years of experience in leading the design, development and implementation of scalable and reliable platforms, tools and/or infrastructure solutions.
• Excellent programming skills in languages such as Groovy, Java and/or Python.
• Excellent Jenkins pipeline development skills or equivalent.
• Excellent Linux administration and Bash programming skills.
• Proven track record of managing CI/CD pipelines and operations.
• Hands-on experience with release management and application deployment.
• Experience with DevSecOps-centric technologies such as Kubernetes, repository management, container deployment, platform and application monitoring, Git and test automation.
• Experience with cloud provisioning and deployment.
• Experience with full stack web application development.
• Familiar with Java and/or .NET development and ecosystem.
