For our international client, a consulting and IT services company specializing in business consulting and the implementation of IT systems for banks, financial institutions, and insurance companies worldwide, we are looking for an experienced Architect / Lead ABAP Developer to join the team in Poland.

Your Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable solutions within the SAP FS-CD environment.
- Define technical concepts and solution architectures aligned with SAP standards and industry best practices.
- Develop and enhance complex applications using ABAP and object-oriented ABAP.
- Design and implement interfaces between SAP and external systems.
- Build and maintain APIs, web services, and integrations based on RFC and BAPI technologies.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and quality requirements.
- Share knowledge and support the professional development of other developers.
- Organize and lead technical workshops involving clients, architects, and project stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with business consultants, solution architects, and project managers.
- Contribute to SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives and support existing SAP landscapes.
- Take ownership of technical workstreams and development subprojects.
Requirements
- Several years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP and object-oriented ABAP development.
- Practical experience with SAP FS-CD, FI-CA, or PSCD.
- Strong expertise in analyzing, designing, and implementing complex SAP solutions.
- Solid knowledge of SAP integration technologies and interface development.
- Experience with APIs, web services, RFC, and BAPI.
- Ability to prepare technical specifications, concepts, and solution architectures.
- Familiarity with code reviews and software quality assurance practices.
- Experience working directly with clients and business stakeholders.
- Understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- German language skills at B2 level or higher, ideally C1.
- Willingness to travel to project locations in Germany and Switzerland.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with CDS Views and OData Services.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAP R/3.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori and UI5.
- Experience in SAP data migration projects.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Background in the insurance sector.
