ServiceNow Architect Job Description
A ServiceNow Architect is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions. This role involves understanding business needs, translating them into technical requirements, and ensuring the overall health and efficiency of the ServiceNow platform. The architect collaborates with stakeholders, development teams, and administrators to deliver robust, scalable, and high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design of ServiceNow solutions, including integrations with other systems.
- Ensure that solutions align with industry best practices and meet business requirements.
- Develop architectural blueprints and detailed documentation.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Mentor junior developers and administrators.
- Oversee the health, performance, and stability of the ServiceNow platform.
- Manage upgrades, patches, and version control.
- Ensure effective platform security and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and pain points.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Lead ServiceNow projects from conception to completion.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Extensive experience with ServiceNow, including hands-on experience with architecture and design.
- Proven experience in leading ServiceNow implementation projects.
- Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, etc.
- Strong understanding of ITIL and service management best practices.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting, workflows, and customizations.
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and integration techniques.
- Familiarity with database concepts and SQL.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
