Job Summary
Supervise and manage architectural works on-site to ensure timely execution, quality workmanship, and compliance with BCA Quality Mark and CONQUAS standards. Coordinate with stakeholders and lead quality control and inspections for successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all architectural works at the project site to ensure timely execution and high-quality workmanship
- Conduct regular inspections and coordinate rectifications to maintain compliance with BCA Quality Mark and CONQUAS standards
- Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure smooth progress of architectural works
- Review and monitor shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions to ensure alignment with design intent and specifications
- Plan and supervise architectural finishing works including tiling, painting, ceiling, doors, windows, and external works
- Conduct inspections, trade demonstrations, and mock-ups to verify workmanship meets approved standards
- Lead pre-inspections and inspections with consultants and authorities for TOP, QP, and RI submissions
- Identify defects early and drive prompt rectification to meet quality benchmarks
- Collaborate with the QA/QC team to implement and maintain a robust quality control plan for architectural elements
- Track material usage and ensure proper storage and handling of architectural finishes
- Prepare reports and updates on architectural progress and quality performance
- Mentor junior supervisors and provide technical guidance on-site
- Enforce safe working practices in all architectural activities
- Plan and forecast material quantity requirements at least three months in advance to ensure timely procurement and avoid project delays
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Required competencies and certifications
- Strong knowledge of BCA Quality Mark and CONQUAS standards and assessment criteria
- Proficient in interpreting architectural drawings and specifications
- Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and quality awareness
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities on site
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree in Architecture, Building, or related field
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant site supervision experience, preferably in large-scale residential or commercial projects
