Architectural Coordinator
Summary
Coordinates architectural work, shop drawings, and site implementation for building projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and resolving construction issues.
Job Descriptions
- Review, update and coordinate all architectural work including shop drawings for the project.
- Liaise, supervise and coordinate with sub-contractors and vendors on projects and work.
- Ensure compliance with Architectural specifications and achieve quality aspect of architectural works.
- Coordinate with architect, structural engineer and M&E engineer to resolve construction problems and issues.
- Carry out architectural works scheduling, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation.
- To attend to construction site coordination works and meeting.
- Review project specifications, tender clarifications and construction drawings
- Carry out daily supervision and coordination of all architectural implementations at site.
- Prepare any necessary construction method statement and technical proposal to ensure smooth transition of works.
- Assist the Project Management team in ensuring that the works are carried out to schedule and in accordance with relevant regulations.
- Coordinate all architectural drawings and works, submit and update status of shop drawings and materials as well as supervise work progress.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree/ Diploma in Architecture or its equivalent
- Minimum 3 years and above of relevant site experience in building projects
- Ability to interpret construction drawings for any discrepancies.
- Familiar with local standard quality implementation, BCA CONQUAS and other Quality Mark Assessment
- Candidate who possesses good experience and exposure will be considered higher position. Salary will be commeasured according to skill
