ARCHITECTURAL COORDINATOR
Job Descriptions
• Plan, coordinate and implement architectural site works with architectural subcontractors and other related trades to ensure works are carried out safely, properly and according to project requirements.
• Coordinate architectural works for HDB BTO /public residential building projects, including interface with structural, M&E and external works trades.
• Identify, monitor and resolve architectural site issues, discrepancies and coordination problems that arise during construction.
• Assist the Project Manager and Site Manager inorganizing manpower, materials and site resources to support smooth project execution.
• Attend to site matters, technical issues and feedback relating to architectural works at project sites.
• Prepare, review and submit shop drawings, material samples, method statements and other required documents to consultants/client representatives for approval.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, Resident Technical Officers and relevant project stakeholders to resolve technical and site coordination matters.
• Prepare for and attend RTO/consultant inspections, site walks and project coordination meetings.
• Monitor and supervise architectural works onsite to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and project schedule.
• Maintain updated architectural drawings, shop drawings, documents, records and submission tracking.
• Assist in reviewing construction drawings and architectural details and coordinate necessary revisions with relevant parties.
• Ensure assigned works are completed accurately with good workmanship and delivered within the required timeline.
• Perform other project-related duties as assigned by the superior.
Job Requirements
• Candidate should possess at least a Degree, in Architecture, Building, Civil Engineering, Construction Manage mentor a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in architectural coordination or architectural site works within the construction industry.
• Experience in HDB BTO, public housing, residential building or similar large-scale building projects will be advantageous.
• Able to read and understand architectural drawings, shop drawings, specifications and construction details.
• Good coordination and communication skills to liaise with consultants, subcontractors, site teams and project stakeholders.
• Familiar with site coordination, material submission, shop drawing submission, inspection preparation and construction documentation.
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team in a fast-paced construction site environment.
