At CLEAR, we are looking for a dedicated architectural design reviewer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assessing architectural design submissions to ensure they meet all relevant codes, standards, and client expectations, driving excellence in every project.
Responsibilities:
- Critically review architectural designs, drawings, and documentation for compliance with applicable building codes and regulations.
- Assess design feasibility, functionality, and aesthetics in alignment with project goals.
- Identify and document discrepancies, omissions, or non-compliance issues and recommend corrective measures.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to discuss review findings and support design improvements.
- Prepare detailed review reports and communicate findings clearly and professionally.
- Stay updated on changes in the architectural and building regulation landscape to ensure continual compliance.
Requirements
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, architectural engineering, or a closely related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in architectural design review or a similar role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, zoning requirements, and construction regulations.
- Proficiency with architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and provide constructive feedback.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects effectively.
