Architectural Executive
Summary
Oversee architectural projects from design to completion, ensuring compliance with regulations and managing documentation, approvals, and site coordination.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Assist and support the office in any kind of architectural projects;
- Assist in feasibility studies, design, design development, tender documentation and contract administration.
Expertise and Qualities:
- Conversant and current with regulations and codes governing construction and architectural practice;
- Has BIM capability to meet job requirement;
- Control and prepare architectural drawings, presentations and reports;
- Check, monitor and prepare applications, including drawings, forms & correspondences, for planning and building plan approval;
- Conversant with planning and building plan approval requirement and process, project development sequence and schedules;
- Conversant with and able to produce detailed workings drawings and specifications;
- Review or modify drawings according to the directions of the senior staff and able to direct junior similarly;
- Conversant with preparing and producing tender documents for contracts;
- Administration of tender;
- Conversant with and able to carry out project management and coordination;
- Familiar with and able to carry out site inspection, site progress documentation, including resolving problems and issues that arise during construction;
- Ensure good project document control;
- Check, monitor and prepare for applications, including co-ordinating inspections, preparation of drawings, forms & correspondences for obtaining TOP & CSC;
- Uphold and raise office standards;
- Provide guidance to junior staff in their work;
- Share and give lessons (on a need-to-do basis) to office colleagues.
