Architectural/Interior Design Estimator
Key Responsibilities
- Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for architectural and interior design projects based on drawings, specifications, and project scope
- Material Takeoff: Quantify materials, labor, and equipment requirements from design documents
- Budget Planning: Develop comprehensive project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Vendor Coordination: Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors; negotiate pricing
- Documentation: Maintain accurate estimation records and support project bidding processes
- Design Collaboration: Work closely with architects, interior designers, and project managers to refine estimates
- Quality Assurance: Ensure estimates align with project standards and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering, Interior Design, or Civil Engineering
- Certification: SKA/SKK (Professional Certification) minimum Junior Expert level
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in the construction services industry
- Specialized Experience: Proven track record as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor on multi-story building construction, renovation, or office/residential projects (minimum 4 floors)
