Architectural Lighting Designer
Summary
Manage architectural lighting design projects from concept through completion, leading coordination, technical specifications, and on-site execution. Core tools include Adobe Creative Suite, DIALux, and optionally Revit or AGi32.
The Lighting Designer is responsible for managing architectural lighting design projects from concept through completion.
Responsibilities:
• Design Leadership: Concept design,schematic design and lighting layout development.
• Project Management: Lead coordination meetings with architects, interior designers and consultants.
• Technical Specifications: Select fixtures, create equipment schedules and verify circuiting loads.
• On-Site Execution: Supervise mock-ups, oversee installation, and direct final aiming and programming.
Requirements:
• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Design or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in lighting design, preferably across commercial, mixed-use or hospitality projects
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and DIALux
• Knowledge of AGi32, Revit or BIM software will be an added advantage
• Strong visual communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate design ideas through sketches and drawings
• Confident in coordinating with consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders
• Singaporean only need apply
