Architectural Manager, Site (Tampines/Building Construction)
About the role
Our client, a leading A1 Main Contractor, is seeking an experienced Architectural Manager (Site) to oversee the architectural works for a large-scale mixed development project in Singapore.
This role is focused on site-based architectural delivery, ensuring that architectural works are properly coordinated, executed, and completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
Key rsponsibilities
Lead and manage the architectural works and site activities for the assigned project
Coordinate with the Architect, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to resolve architectural issues on site
Review architectural drawings, specifications, and construction details to ensure proper site execution
Monitor the progress of architectural works against the project programme and identify potential delays or issues
Supervise and coordinate architectural subcontractors to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications
Ensure architectural works comply with quality standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements
Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate rectification of architectural defects and non-conformities
Coordinate architectural works with structural, M&E, façade, and other trades to minimise site clashes and interface issues
Review and coordinate material submissions, samples, mock-ups, shop drawings, and method statements where required
Attend site meetings and coordination meetings with consultants, subcontractors, and relevant stakeholders
Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Architectural Studies, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in architectural site management, preferably with a major main contractor
Proven experience managing architectural works for large-scale building or mixed development projects
Strong understanding of architectural construction, materials, finishes, and site coordination
Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and multiple trades on site
Good understanding of Singapore construction standards, practices, and authority requirements
Strong site management, coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills
Able to work independently and effectively manage multiple architectural work fronts
