GENERAL SUMMARY
The Construction Administration Coordinator reports to a Managing Director. Responsible for scope, schedule, and budget. Work under the direction of the Managing Director and in cooperation with the Project Architect and Project Designer to develop high-quality design on time and within budget.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
This position requires working closely with a team of in-house architects, interior designers, planners, landscape architects, and consultants on multiple projects with a variety of project diversity throughout the Southeast to meet scheduled deliverables. The successful candidate must be a leader, self-starter, organized, flexible, and possess a strong work ethic. The following duties are normal for the position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

Ability to work within a team environment.

Handle multiple projects concurrently.

Travel to project sites throughout South Carolina and/or North Carolina.

Maintain correspondence with consultants for submittals and schedules.

Ability to work with multiple teams and manage project schedules simultaneously.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Technical understanding and ability to effectively read construction documents.

Ability to accurately record shop drawings, contracts, RFIs, etc.

Understanding of the design and procurement processes.

Ability to accurately review payment applications.

Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills.

Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Strong project management skills, with demonstrated ability to work through applying knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques for project activities to meet the project requirements.

Familiarity with construction management software Procore or similar.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Familiarity with AIA contract documents.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
-
Bachelor's or master's degree in construction management or a relevant field.

8+ year's of solid and progressive work history, with experience in construction administration.
