- Compensation: $50,000 to $60,000 salary + Auto Allowance
- Additional Compensation: Commissions and Bonus Eligible
Position Summary
Due to continued company growth, American Facility Services is seeking a service-driven and detail-oriented Area Custodial Project Manager to support daily operations, ensure contract compliance, and strengthen client relationships. While Austin, TX is the primary reporting location, this position supports accounts and business development efforts throughout Texas. The Area Custodial Project Manager may be required to travel statewide to provide onsite operational support, conduct inspections, attend pre-bid meetings and walkthroughs, support employee coaching and counseling, address client needs, and assist with other operational initiatives as needed. Work schedules may vary based on business demands, and evening, weekend, and occasional overnight travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple custodial contracts and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Conduct routine site inspections and implement quality control standards.
- Recruit, hire, train, and coach custodial employees.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
- Resolve customer concerns and support account retention and growth.
- Assist with RFPs, RFQs, pricing, site assessments, and pre-bid meetings.
- Manage staffing, labor reports, inventory, equipment, and operational documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Travel & Schedule Requirements
- Primary reporting location is Austin, TX; however, travel throughout the State of Texas is required.
- Provide onsite support to customer locations, attend pre-bid meetings and walkthroughs, conduct employee coaching and counseling, and support operational needs statewide.
- Work schedule may fluctuate based on business needs.
- Some evening, overnight, and weekend work may be required.
