EXPERIENCIA Y CONOCIMIENTOS

Mechanical, electromechanical, mechatronic, or related engineer, with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a production manager in the automotive industry, handling machining and Welding processes. Proven experience managing 24/7 operations with 300+ operators, knowledge of machining, welding, heat treatment, and extrusion processes, understanding of operational expenses, demonstrated track record of improving safety, quality, efficiency, and reducing operational expenses, demonstrated experience of cultural improvement.

RESPONSABILIDADES

The main responsibilities are:

• Ensuring full compliance with the plant's Safety system.

• Protecting the customer by guaranteeing product quality and on-time delivery.

• Drive a strong leadership culture by empowering and developing his team to data-driven decisions.

• Ensure a clear and aligned strategy.

• Strengthen organizational capability by promoting cross-functional teamwork.

• Develop talent by implementing structured training, performance evaluations, and individualized development plans, while identifying high-potential employees for succession planning.

• Controlling expenses in operational accounts.

• Monitor, analyze, and improve key operational KPIs, including Scrap, FTQ, OEE, delivery performance, labor efficiency, and downtime metrics.

• Standardize and optimize processes through the effective use of Core Tools.

• Providing manufacturing support as needed.

• Other activities assigned.

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Manager.

• Solid understanding of manufacturing KPIs such as OEE, FTQ, Scrap, labor efficiency, downtime, and throughput

• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams.

• Experience managing operational budgets, cost reduction initiatives, and analysis of controllable expenses.

• Functional knowledge of maintenance principles, equipment capability, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Strong problem-solving skills using structured methodologies such as 5 Why, Fishbone, 8D, PDCA, or equivalent.

• Experience in Machining, Welding, Extrusion and Heat Treatment processes.

• Fluent English is required.
