Area Manager

Job Description
With the aim of strengthening our Team in Germany, we are recruiting an
Area manager (f/m/x).
Main responsibilities:
Drive regional sales performance and achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs
Lead, coach, and develop a team of 8 Sales Representatives through regular field visits, feedback, and performance management
Translate national strategies into effective regional sales and customer engagement plans
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, KOLs, and key stakeholders, with a strong focus on orthopedics
Identify market opportunities through customer, competitor, and market analysis
Ensure effective territory management, resource allocation, and execution of marketing initiatives
Leverage CRM and digital tools to monitor performance and improve field force effectiveness
Foster a high-performance culture while ensuring compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and local regulations
Requirements:
Proven leadership experience in a people management role within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry
Strong sales experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device sector; experience with orthopedists and an existing network are a plus
Strong customer orientation combined with a results-driven and entrepreneurial mindset.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team
High level of discipline, self-motivation, resilience, and ability to perform effectively in a dynamic environment
Ability to identify market trends, opportunities, and risks and translate insights into effective actions
Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory (approximately 80% field-based work); a valid driver's license is required
Proficiency in CRM systems and digital sales tools
Fluent German and good English language skills, both written and spoken
