Area Manager | GYG Singapore

As an Area Manager at Guzman y Gomez (GYG), you’ll lead multiple restaurants, develop our Restaurant Managers and drive business performance across your area.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being out in the restaurants, working closely with teams and turning business goals into results. You’ll be responsible for maintaining high operational standards, building strong management teams and identifying opportunities to improve sales, profitability and the overall guest experience.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading, coaching and developing Restaurant Managers across multiple outlets
• Driving consistent food quality, service and operational standards across your area
• Reviewing outlet performance and identifying opportunities to grow sales and profitability
• Managing P&L, COGS, labour and operating costs across multiple restaurants
• Developing managers and building a strong pipeline of future leaders
• Ensuring food safety, workplace safety and regulatory compliance
• Monitoring inventory, wastage and operational controls
• Supporting recruitment, training and succession planning across your management teams
• Addressing customer feedback and driving improvements in guest experience
• Partnering with the wider Restaurant Operations team to deliver business goals and priorities

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a leader with the drive, maturity and commercial mindset to lead at a multi-site level. You know how to develop people, hold teams accountable and deliver results without losing sight of the guest experience.

You’ll bring:

• Proven experience managing multiple outlets in a high-volume hospitality or F&B environment
• Strong leadership experience, with a track record of coaching and developing managers
• Sound commercial and financial acumen, including P&L management
• Strong communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organisation and time management, with the ability to manage competing priorities independently
• Good computer skills and confidence working with operational systems and data
• A hands-on leadership style and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
