Area Manager – Key Job Responsibilities
- College & Government Tie-ups: Build and maintain strong relationships with colleges, ITIs, government departments, and other key stakeholders to establish and strengthen project partnerships.
- Project Implementation: Ensure smooth and timely execution of the project across the assigned area as per organizational guidelines and project requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with college authorities, government officials, trainers, and internal teams to ensure effective project delivery.
- Placement Support: Plan and support placement drives, coordinate with employers and institutions, and facilitate suitable employment opportunities for beneficiaries.
- Team Management: Guide, monitor, and support the field team to ensure activities are completed efficiently and within timelines.
- Target Achievement: Develop area-level strategies and action plans to achieve assigned impact, training, and placement targets.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Track daily/weekly progress, identify gaps, take corrective actions, and submit timely reports to management.
- Field Engagement: Conduct regular field visits to monitor sessions, strengthen partnerships, and resolve operational challenges.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure all project activities, documentation, data, and reporting are completed accurately and according to SOPs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Social Work, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in project management, field operations, NGO/social sector, education, skilling, or placement programs.
- Strong experience in college, ITI, government, and institutional tie-ups.
- Good understanding of project implementation, team coordination, and field operations.
- Proven ability to achieve assigned targets and manage area-level goals.
- Experience in placement drives, employer coordination, and placement support will be an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, networking, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate field teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
- Good skills in MS Excel, reporting, data tracking, and documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage timelines, and deliver results under pressure.
