Area Sales Manager - Coimbatore

Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Area Sales Manager to lead and develop our sales operations within the Coimbatore region. This role involves achieving sales targets, expanding market share, and building strong customer relationships.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and quotas for the Coimbatore area.
* Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to optimize their performance.
* Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, including market analysis, competitive assessment, and customer segmentation.
* Manage and nurture existing client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
* Conduct regular market visits to understand customer needs, identify trends, and gather competitive intelligence.
* Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis to senior management.
* Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to market penetration.
* Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies.
* Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and best sales practices.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
* Proven track record of success in sales management, with at least 5 years of experience, preferably within the Coimbatore market.
* Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
* Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
* In-depth knowledge of the local market dynamics and customer base in Coimbatore.
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
* Fluency in English and Tamil is required.
