What You'll Do

  • Bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and flexibility to a dynamic hospitality environment.

  • Develop, manage, and grow business within assigned market segments to meet or exceed revenue goals.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, associations, sports teams, tour operators, government agencies, and group business.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.

  • Collaborate with hotel leadership to develop sales strategies that increase occupancy, ADR, and overall revenue.

  • Create and promote seasonal packages, special promotions, and targeted marketing campaigns to drive business during need periods.

  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, Chamber of Commerce meetings, and community organizations to strengthen brand awareness and generate new leads.

  • Ensure all daily sales operations are completed efficiently while maintaining compliance with hotel, brand, and company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain current knowledge of market trends, competitive activity, and local economic conditions to identify opportunities for growth.

  • Foster strong communication and collaboration with General Managers, department leaders, and hotel teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

  • Participate in sales meetings, forecasting, and strategic planning.

  • Maintain a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    What We're Looking For

  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive sales experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.

  • Proven ability to develop new business, manage key accounts, and consistently achieve sales goals.

  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality sales practices.

  • Familiarity with sales and marketing tools, CRM platforms, and lead generation strategies.

  • Knowledge of the local market and business community is highly desirable.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

  • Ability to interpret operational documents, policies, procedures, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of local attractions, events, and community resources that support hotel sales efforts.
