Job Summary

Acme Products is looking for a seasoned Project Manager who is equally comfortable managing a young, talented, and hungry team of interactive designers, developers, and engineers as they are gathering requirements from and setting expectations with client stakeholders.

The candidate we get must be pumped about and will have strong verbal and written communication skills, experience working within a creative agency environment, and a friendly, but thick skin. This is a demanding position that requires a steady demeanor, incredible attention to detail, and a willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities—everything from drafting and maintaining project budgets and schedules to managing internal teams and client stakeholders to project management. He/She will be reviewing and providing critical feedback on project deliverables all while holding everyone on the team up to the highest of standards.

Core requirements:

• Past or current experience (2 years minimum) as a Project / Product Manager or Producer within a creative agency environment.
• Experience taking often times vague client requirements and translating them into actionable tasks for both our creative and dev teams—and then shepherd that process along with efficiency.
• Proven track record managing a variety of digital projects from concept to completion—preferably with some measure of success.
• Strong command over Google Apps and Microsoft Office product suites—you’re a spreadsheet ninja and can format text documents with the best of them.
• Willingness and driven to get your hands dirty supporting a variety of tasks—we are a small agency that doesn’t know what “that’s not my job” means.
• Knowledge and success with the agile development process
• Familiar with project-management tools; Basecamp, Jira, Confluence and/or Trello
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Aggressive managing tasks and projects.

Nice to haves:

• Strong interest in and/or familiarity with UX, visual design, and software development tools and best practices.
• You can hold your own at the ping pong table and have been known to mash a few game controller buttons in your day.
