Lighting Sales Engineer – Yorkshire & North East

We’re representing an expanding, reputable lighting manufacturer with a well-established Yorkshire and North East region available. This is not a cold-start role; it’s a genuine opportunity to take ownership of an existing area, develop strong relationships, and build long-term project business with the support of a stable, cash-rich company.

What’s on offer: £45,000–£55,000 basic salary, quarterly commission/bonus, company car and benefits package.

You’ll be selling a quality range of innovative LED lighting solutions into a varied customer base including contractors, end users, architects, interior designers and consulting engineers, while supporting electrical wholesalers across the region. Typical projects span leisure, hospitality, retail, galleries, churches, refurbishments, new builds and major roll-out programmes — giving you variety, autonomy and the chance to influence specifications from concept to completion.

This would suit a commercially minded sales professional who knows the region, enjoys developing specifier relationships, and can confidently demonstrate, present and position project-based lighting solutions.
