About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager to develop and expand the Nigerian market for Tempsens' industrial instrumentation and temperature measurement solutions. The candidate will identify new business opportunities, build customer relationships, manage sales activities, and drive business growth across Nigeria, combining technical understanding with strong field sales and commercial skills.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and grow Tempsens' business presence in Nigeria through direct customer engagement and market development.

Identify and develop new customers, industries, projects, EPC companies, consultants, OEMs, distributors, and channel partners.

Manage existing customer relationships and identify repeat and cross-selling opportunities.

Conduct regular customer visits, site visits, technical discussions, and product presentations.

Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate Tempsens products and solutions.

Prepare and follow up on quotations, commercial offers, tenders, and sales proposals.

Negotiate prices, commercial terms, delivery requirements, and other business conditions.

Coordinate with the Global Front Sales Team on technical, commercial, and project matters.

Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales updates.

Monitor market trends, competitors, pricing, and emerging opportunities in Nigeria.

Achieve assigned sales targets and customer acquisition objectives.

Represent Tempsens at customer meetings, exhibitions, seminars, and industry events.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

1–3 years of field sales / business development experience, preferably in industrial products, instrumentation, automation, electrical, process equipment, or a related B2B industry.

Technical sales experience preferred.

Strong willingness to travel within Nigeria for customer visits and business development.
