Pay: $28.00-$35.00 An Hour
About the Role:
Blue Line Security Solutions is looking for professional, dependable Armed Security Officers with a military and/or law enforcement background to join our team in the Chicago area. This role is open to candidates with prior military service, active or retired law enforcement experience, or other qualifying public-safety training who want to bring that background into private security. The ideal candidate has strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and the ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
Job Description:
- Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect unauthorized activity or security threats
- Monitor surveillance systems, alarms, and access points; respond to suspicious activity or incidents
- Conduct inspections to confirm doors, windows, and access points are secure
- Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances, medical incidents, or accidents
- Maintain accurate daily logs and incident reports
- Verify authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles at assigned properties
- Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed
- Follow all company policy, post orders, and applicable state/federal regulations
- Participate in ongoing and site-specific training
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management
