Primary Location: Overland Park, KS
Wage Range: $22.00-$22.50/HR
Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Armed Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
Officer will be either in a patrol vehicle or posted at a specific entrance for access control.

Basic Requirements:
- 21 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Above average computer / technology skills needed.
- Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
- Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
- Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
- All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
- 12 months of armed experience, military, or law enforcement required.
- Candidate will be required to pass psychological profile, NRA class, and obtain Armed KCMO guard card.
- MVR required as it’s a driving post.
