About the Position: Plans and implements an Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) in accordance with DOD, DA, and HQ Installation Management Command (IMCOM) policies and guidelines; recommends revisions to established programs.

Plans, directs, supervises and evaluates the Installation's Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP).

Plans and develops local policies, procedures, and reporting requirements and systems to effectively accomplish program goals.

Coordinates and facilitates the Installation Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Conducts initial screening and assesses nature of client problems and refers to the appropriate community resources (ASAP, Mental Health, SWS, Psychiatry, etc.).

Develops and coordinates a conflict resolution program to assist employees in resolving workplace conflict.

Conducts confidential inquiries and surveys; and briefs Command regarding trends and climate assessments in the area of Human Relations and Behavior.

Formulates, develops, and manages a Crisis Intervention Program/critical Incident Debriefing Program for civilian employees.

Exercises operational control of ASAP personnel, facilities and funds.

Manages and monitors the Installation’s DFW Testing Program.
