Art Director – eLearning & Media Innovation
Location: Onsite - Pune or Noida, India
Position type: Full-time employee
We're looking for a bold, visionary Art Director to lead creative direction across digital learning, media, and next-gen technologies. This role blends hands-on visual design with strategic leadership—mentoring designers, building design standards, and shaping learner-centric, immersive learning experiences. You'll also contribute to early-stage solutioning, leading design workshops and scoping creative approaches for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Define the visual direction of digital learning solutions across WBTs, ILTs, videos, microlearning, simulations, infographics, and immersive experiences—always centered on the learner.
Design high-quality visual assets: UI/UX, motion graphics, illustrations, animations, and interactive content.
Mentor and grow a team of designers; build design standards and scale team capability through coaching and feedback.
Lead creative strategy in client interactions, including workshops and early solutioning discussions; present and defend creative rationale to clients and internal teams.
Use AI and automation tools (Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Runway ML, Kling AI, Google AI Studio, etc.) to speed concept development, prototyping, and production.
Experiment with immersive tech (360°, AR/VR, avatar-based video) to push design innovation.
Partner with Instructional Designers, LX leads, Project Managers, and Developers to align design with learning objectives; ensure accessibility, brand, and responsive design standards are met.
Bachelor's or Master's in Graphic Design, Media Arts, Visual Communication, or related field.
8–12 years of digital design experience, including 3+ years in a lead/directorial role—preferably in digital learning or multimedia.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline/Rise 360, Vyond, Figma, and AI design tools (Firefly, Midjourney, Runway ML, Kling AI, VEO, 11 Labs).
Working knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, LMS compatibility, WCAG accessibility, and responsive/mobile-first design.
Strong brand and design-standards sensibility, with experience translating it into templates and guidelines.
Proven ability to lead solution design, scope creative work, and run client-facing visual strategy workshops.
Strong storytelling and communication skills, including experience presenting to international clients.
If you build teams as well as you build visuals, and you're always looking for what AI and emerging tech can add to creative work, we want to hear from you.
