Art Instructor

Summary

Teach art classes and workshops to children, manage student progress, and handle studio operations including admin and cashiering.

Main responsibilities

  • Design and deliver lessons for regular classes & workshops, and events in accordance with Artlette Studio's curriculum standards.
  • Provide feedback to parents and prepare progress reports for students.
  • Collaborate with external partners to plan and conduct workshops and events.
  • Handle enquiries from parents and students via email, phone, and in person.
  • Perform cashiering duties and manage payments.
  • Carry out administrative tasks, including inventory management and procurement of art supplies.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the studio environment


Requirements

  • A passion for art teaching, positive mindset, encouraging and love for children.
  • A multi-tasker with the ability to work in a fast paced environment and good class management skills.
  • A good interpersonal skills, honest and responsible.
  • A team player who support and respect other team members.
  • An organized person with good documentation skills.
  • A creative person who challenge the norms and constantly seek for improvement.
  • Graduated from an Art institution – Diplomas/University OR Preschool teaching
  • Teaching experience with minimum 1 year working experience.
  • 5 days working week. Able to work on weekends with 2 weekdays off.
