Art Instructor
Summary
Teach art classes and workshops to children, manage student progress, and handle studio operations including admin and cashiering.
Main responsibilities
- Design and deliver lessons for regular classes & workshops, and events in accordance with Artlette Studio's curriculum standards.
- Provide feedback to parents and prepare progress reports for students.
- Collaborate with external partners to plan and conduct workshops and events.
- Handle enquiries from parents and students via email, phone, and in person.
- Perform cashiering duties and manage payments.
- Carry out administrative tasks, including inventory management and procurement of art supplies.
- Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the studio environment
Requirements
- A passion for art teaching, positive mindset, encouraging and love for children.
- A multi-tasker with the ability to work in a fast paced environment and good class management skills.
- A good interpersonal skills, honest and responsible.
- A team player who support and respect other team members.
- An organized person with good documentation skills.
- A creative person who challenge the norms and constantly seek for improvement.
- Graduated from an Art institution – Diplomas/University OR Preschool teaching
- Teaching experience with minimum 1 year working experience.
- 5 days working week. Able to work on weekends with 2 weekdays off.
