Artwork Manager

The Artwork Manager is the central coordination point for end-to-end artwork development across the brand portfolio. Working across DMI, Product Development, and local SAP Markets, this role ensures all artwork is validated, compliant, brand-consistent, and on time — directly safeguarding OTBS performance.

Key Responsibilities

1.Cross-Functional Artwork Coordination

  • Serve as the primary liaison between DMI, Product Development, and local SAP country teams throughout the artwork validation lifecycle.
  • Facilitate alignment across all stakeholders to ensure a seamless and efficient review and approval process.
  • Proactively manage communication flows between Zone Marketing, DMI, and local Markets to prevent misalignment and avoid delays.

2. Artwork Validation & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure all local Marketing and STRAD comments are accurately captured and incorporated into artwork files prior to final approval.
  • Validate the accuracy and completeness of all mandatory information on the full information panel (back panel of carton box), including but not limited to:
  • Company address

    Halal certification

    Usage instructions

    Ingredient listings

    Barcodes

  • Safeguard compliance with both importation and sell-out regulatory requirements across all applicable markets.

3. Brand Consistency Management

  • Ensure full brand consistency is maintained across all artwork language adaptations — from the Master Artwork (MAW) through to the Brand Adaptation Guide (BAG).
  • Oversee consistency across multiple language versions, as well as across different markets.
  • Flag and resolve any inconsistencies between artwork versions, escalating to relevant stakeholders as needed.

4. Timeline& Deadline Management

  • Monitor and enforce adherence to artwork development milestones within the broader product development process.
  • Track Final Artwork (FAW) submission timelines, proactively identifying risks that could impact OTBS targets and taking corrective action.
  • Maintain a clear sense of urgency and prioritisation, especially on fast-track or sprint projects where timelines are compressed.

5. ProgressReporting & Visibility

  • Prepare and distribute the monthly Artwork Development Progress Report, providing a comprehensive status update across the full brand portfolio.
  • Ensure the report captures the status of all active artwork workstreams, highlighting risks, blockers, and on-track deliverables to drive accountability and timely decision-making.
  • Provide Zone Marketing leadership with full visibility and confidence on artwork progress at all times.

6. Barrier Resolution & Process Improvement

  • Act as a proactive problem-solver in unlocking artwork progress barriers that could impact timelines — whether commercial, regulatory, or process-related.
  • Lead or facilitate resolution of ad-hoc market requests (e.g., pricing callout removals, company address updates), including navigating discussions between DMI and PD on scope and process applicability.
  • Identify process gaps and champion solutions — including the development and implementation of new process frameworks such as TAG Briefs for managing small market-driven changes efficiently and without backlog.

7. Agility on Fast-Track & Sprint Projects

  • Adapt working pace and approach to meet the demands of fast-track product launches, managing artwork development in parallel with evolving inputs (e.g., product name changes, revised MAW, STRAD approvals in progress).
  • Keep all stakeholders — particularly Zone Marketing — continuously updated during sprint phases, clearly surfacing barriers, late approvals, or pending inputs from markets.
  • Balance speed with accuracy, ensuring no compliance or brand integrity risks are introduced under time pressure.

  3. Prior experience in the FMCG and/or beauty manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
