Builds and maintains a PHP (Laravel) and React/Next.js e-wallet platform for Philippine sellers and SMEs, writing APIs, UI components, and database logic.
JOB FUNCTION
Full-Stack Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining features across the entire stack—from the backend APIs to the frontend user interface—ensuring seamless user experiences for our customers. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other engineers to deliver robust software solutions that power our e-wallet platform for online sellers, content providers, and SMEs in the Philippines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications using Laravel, MySQL, React, and Next.js.
Design RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external services.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and scalability.
Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data protection measures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver timely solutions.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and continuous improvement efforts.
Contribute to the design and architecture of new features and system enhancements.
Stay current with emerging technologies to help shape future product direction.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
3+ years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Web Developer or Software Engineer.
Proven expertise in:
- Laravel (or similar PHP frameworks) for backend development
- MySQL for relational database design and optimization
- React.js and Next.js for building modern, responsive front-end interfaces
- API development and integration (RESTful APIs, JSON, etc.)
Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and .
Familiarity with Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and version control best practices.
Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, GCP, or similar) and deployment workflows.
Solid grasp of software development best practices, including security and testing.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in teams.
