GENERAL SUMMARY
The ASC Pre-Admit Testing Specialist, RN is responsible for overseeing intake, performing an initial physical assessment, interviewing the patient to obtain medical history, and obtaining tests ordered by the surgeon such as EKG and drawing blood for lab work. The Pre-Admit Testing Specialist works closely with the surgeon and anesthesia team to ensure the patient is ready for surgery.
