Ashley Warehouse Shipping Clerk

Location(s): WAREHOUSE

As a Shipping Clerk in the Warehouse, you will assist supervisors with the day-to-day operations of the Warehouse, including documentation, dock and personnel assignments, and inter-departmental communication.

Areas of Responsibilities:

• COORDINATE TRAILER LOADING:

• Assign trailer loading docks

• Communicate with yard jockeys

• Assist 3rd party truck drivers with documentation

• DOCUMENTATION:

• Ensure all required documents are properly filled out and filed

• Print lot number stickers

• Make and record changes to customer orders, as needed

• Adds or Cuts

• OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

• Stay in contact with customer service and order entry to keep the orders up to date, so they are completed in a timely manner

• Participate in Monthly Inventory

Education and Experience:

Required:

• HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT
