We are looking for an ASO Manager to drive organic acquisition and conversion optimization on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Our mobile app is a top-rated product in its category, and you will be responsible for defending and expanding our rankings, improving conversion rates, and running rigorous experiments to maximize installs and engagement. You will work closely with creative, product, and marketing teams to ensure our app store presence is best-in-class.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end ASO strategy for both Apple App Store and Google Play, driving organic installs and improving conversion rates
- Conduct ongoing keyword research and optimization for titles, subtitles, keyword fields, and descriptions across both stores
- Plan, execute, and analyze A/B tests on app store creatives (icons, screenshots, preview videos, feature graphics) using native tools and third-party platforms
- Monitor and report on key metrics: keyword rankings, category rankings, conversion rates (impression-to-install), ratings, and reviews
- Analyze competitor app store strategies and identify opportunities for differentiation
- Manage and respond to user reviews strategically to improve ratings and sentiment
- Stay current with App Store and Google Play algorithm changes, policy updates, and new ASO opportunities (in-app events, promotional content, LiveOps)
- Collaborate with creative teams to produce high-converting store assets and localized content
- Work with the SEO Manager and paid acquisition teams to align organic and paid mobile strategies
- Manage relationships with ASO tools and vendors (AppTweak, Sensor Tower, SplitMetrics, or similar)
Requirements
- 3+ years of dedicated ASO experience managing apps on both iOS and Android
- Demonstrable success in improving app store rankings and conversion rates
- Proficiency with ASO tools such as AppTweak, Sensor Tower, SplitMetrics, Mobile Action, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of Apple Search Ads and Google Play Console experiments
- Data-driven approach with strong analytical skills and comfort working with large datasets
- Experience with A/B and multivariate testing methodologies and statistical significance
- Understanding of mobile user acquisition funnels and how ASO integrates with paid campaigns
- Fluent English (written and spoken) — Hebrew is a strong advantage
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously with a remote manager
