ASP ADMIN REQ 9159 Finance Functional Process Engineer (Ref: 37907) , Central Singapore

Our client is a market leader in semiconductor test systems and equipment. They are seeking a Finance Functional Process Engineer (FPE) to lead the functional design, configuration, and continuous improvement of finance enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions, supporting scalable finance operations with effective controls and regulatory compliance.

Working closely with the Business Process Engineer (BPE), the FPE will translate approved future-state process designs and business requirements into practical ERP solutions. While the BPE leads end-to-end process design and standardisation, the FPE leads functional solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.

【Responsibilities】

- Own the functional design and lifecycle management of finance ERP solutions across finance modules, ensuring alignment with finance policies, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), statutory requirements, and internal controls.

- Partner with the BPE to understand existing process challenges and approved future-state processes, assess ERP capabilities, and identify gaps, dependencies, and solution options.

- Translate business requirements and process designs into ERP functional specifications and designs covering configuration, reports, interfaces, workflows, access roles, and controls.

- Collaborate with IT teams, implementation partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to configure and enhance ERP functionality and coordinate integrations with upstream and downstream systems.

- Lead functional testing, including developing test scenarios, coordinating system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), resolving defects, and maintaining traceability from requirements through deployment.

- Support data migration, cutover activities, user training, and readiness for system and process changes.

- Maintain functional documentation and provide post-implementation support, including root-cause analysis and ongoing solution optimisation.

【Requirements & Preferences】

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Systems or a related discipline

- At least 5 years of experience in Oracle Finance ERP functional consulting, implementation, enhancement or application support with strong functional knowledge of Oracle Financials and core finance modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and Cash Management

- Working expertise in ERP configuration concepts, finance master data, workflows, reporting, interfaces, access roles and automated controls

- Ability to translate finance requirements and BPE-led process designs into clear functional specifications, solution options and testable acceptance criteria

- Experience preparing functional design documents, test scripts and test evidence, and supporting system integration testing, user acceptance testing, cutover and go-live.

- Excellent communication, documentation and stakeholder-management skills, to work effectively with BPEs, finance users, IT teams and implementation partners.

- Passionate, mature, responsible, motivated, self-driven, and able to work independently and as an individual contributor

- Comfortable attending meetings based on German or US time zones, only as required.

- Willingness to travel for business purposes when necessary (not expected to be frequent).
