Aspinwall: In-Home Care Direct Care Worker (DCW) Day, Evening, and Weekends

Looking to build a pool for all shifts in the area. The Direct Care Worker (DCW) provides non-medical in-home support services to clients in accordance with an individualized written care plan. This role focuses on assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensuring safety, offering companionship, and supporting clients in maintaining independence and overall well-being.

This PRN position offers flexible, as-needed hours and is ideal for individuals who value meaningful, one-on-one care in a home-based setting.

Personal Care & ADL Assistance

· Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, oral hygiene, and hair care

· Provide safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility support using walkers, wheelchairs, or gait belts

· Reposition clients to promote comfort and maintain skin integrity

· Observe, document, and report changes in condition to supervising staff

Nutrition & Meal Support

· Prepare meals according to prescribed dietary requirements

· Assist with feeding as needed

· Monitor and document nutritional intake

Companionship & Consumer Support

· Provide emotional support and meaningful social interaction

· Encourage independence while maintaining dignity and respect

· Accompany clients to medical appointments and other outings as assigned

Household Support & Errands

· Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, changing bed linens, and cleaning kitchen and bathroom areas

· Run errands such as grocery shopping, as needed
