Job Purpose |
The Assistant Manager, Mobile Banking Products & Delivery is the Egypt business owner for assigned mobile and online banking capabilities, responsible for translating Retail Banking Group priorities into executable digital requirements, commercially viable propositions and successful customer launches. The role owns assigned initiatives end-to-end from business requirement and business case through prioritization, stakeholder approvals, UAT, launch readiness, go-to-market and post-launch benefit realization. It acts as a key interface between Egypt Retail Banking, Group Digital / UAE teams, technology squads and control functions to ensure that the Egypt digital roadmap is delivered in line with customer, commercial, regulatory and operational objectives. The position has expanded from project coordination / proxy ownership into a product ownership and commercialization role with measurable accountability for feature adoption, digital engagement, active usage, in-app cross-sell and delivery quality. |

- Own and represent Egypt's business requirements for mobile/online banking initiatives.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and user stories.
- Partner with Mobile Banking Product Owner and Group Digital teams to align Egypt's priorities with the group's backlog and roadmap.
- Support the Quarterly Priority Meeting process, consolidating and prioritizing country demand.
- Maintain delivery visibility, track dependencies, and escalate risks for roadmap items.
- Develop business cases and commercialization plans for new features and journeys.
- Drive in-app cross-sell opportunities and ensure clear commercial and customer KPIs.
- Conduct post-launch performance reviews and recommend improvements.
- Analyze customer feedback and usage analytics to enhance the product and journey.
- Coordinate business readiness across various functions and vendors for successful launches.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in digital banking, fintech, product management, or commercialization.
- Strong knowledge of mobile/internet banking journeys and Retail Banking products.
- Hands-on experience with business requirements, Agile delivery, and release management.
- Ability to build compelling business cases and measure post-launch benefits.
- Understanding of banking control requirements, including CBE approvals and InfoSec.
- Excellent analytical, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix environment with diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.
- A commercial mindset and a track record of successful product launches are preferred.
