Assembles industrial equipment to customer specifications using blueprints, hand tools, and measuring devices in a manufacturing facility.
JOB SUMMARY
Assembles equipment within customer specifications. Basic assembly knowledge and fabrication shop experience are beneficial.
Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting blueprint drawings and specifications
- Preparing material for shipment
- Assisting in loading and unloading of commercial and customer trucks
- Collaborating with work teams and using verbal and/or written communications skills to report work status, request next steps
- Following leadership instructions
- Performing job tasks timely and accurately to ensure smooth workflow
- Using a variety of hand tools to assemble equipment
- Taking accurate measurements using measuring tape or other measuring tools
- Following safety rules and protocols including good housekeeping practices
- Welding and/or prior assembly experience a plus!
- Other duties may be assigned within the scope of manufacturing facility operations
