Summary:

The Assembler’s core responsibility is to weigh, fill and calibrate solid phase extraction columns.

Responsibilities:

• Insert polyethylene disks (frits) into tubes
• Learn, use care and adjustment of simple powder filling device (trigger operated)
• Fill tubes with powder according to job order
• Inspect tubes for quality acceptance
• Label and package tubes for shipping
• Keep detailed records of production, inspection and shipments
• Cut polyethylene disks (frits) using due and hammer
• Perform other duties as assigned
