Assembler I

Position Summary

Assembles, disassembles and modifies mechanical systems and subassemblies by following specific instructions.

May be required to remove and recycle debris. Attention is required to prevent damage to operator, product or equipment during activity. May make necessary minor equipment adjustments to ensure satisfactory production. Inspects work visually for obvious defects.

Organizational Interrelationships

The Assembler reports directly to the Production Supervisor. The Assembler interacts with secondary operations department personnel, as well as other manufacturing (CNC, grinding and tool room departments), quality assurance and engineering personnel. There is no regular customer or supplier contact.
