Assembler
Description
QuikCut, LLC is seeking large-fixture, technical Assemblers at both our Fort Wayne and Columbia City plants to assemble various components and products according to specifications and quality standards. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble large-scale components using hand and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions
- Inspect and test assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Identify and report any defects or issues in the assembly process
Requirements
- Previous experience in manufacturing is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings a plus
- Previous experience using hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, and wrenches
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds
- Ability to perform work on ladders and stepstools
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
