Assembler/Tooling Person
The Tooling Specialist will be responsible for the inventory, restocking, maintenance and repair of turbine and generator tool kits to support outage requirements; ensuring they are presentable and meet all safety, quality, company and government requirements.

• Repair and maintain all turbine and generator tools and containers; ensure they are clean and meet all safety and quality requirements
• Perform visual, electrical, mechanical, electronic inspection of tools, report and quarantine any non-compliant items
• Perform repairs of electrical / electronic equipment up to 480 volts
• Perform shipping and receiving duties when assigned
• Coordinate activities and complete projects to maximize safety, quality, productivity and compliance to GE policies
• Ensure a high level of customer service and support
• Safely utilize material handling equipment & techniques
• Ensure all work is performed with an EHS mindset
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Associate's/Technical Degree from an accredited college or university OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a production or service environment repairing electrical/pneumatic / hydraulic tools • Minimum of one year experience working in a production or service environment
Ability to lift 55 pounds as required
Ability to work in various conditions & environments
Ability to stand for long period of time
Ability to travel 5%of the time
